La Roca Village – Chic Outlet Shopping starts opening on Sundays and festivities

The Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) has allowed La Roca Village the opening on Sundays and festivities. La Roca Village is a Retail Value of the British group based in the town of La Roca del Vallès, Barcelona. The Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) has issued a judgment in giving the nod to the city to be considered as a tourist town.

The council projects to implement a strategic plan to promote tourism in the town and so in order to harness the pull of La Roca Village, actually visiting by three million people annually, tourists in a more than 50 % of cases, and they spend about 400 euros in purchases. The Value Retail Mall in La Roca is currently being expanded. The British company will invest thirty million euros to add another 6,500 square meters of retail space complex, which will become the largest of the group.

The brands provide ten million euros for the construction of this new space, which will be added forty more stores. Overall, once the works will be finished in the summer of 2014, La Roca Village will have an area of 24,000 square meters. Value Retail, which employs more than 600 workers, is present in European cities like London, Paris, Milan, Frankfurt and Madrid. Outside of Europe, the British company has signed an agreement with Shanghai Shendi Group, to develop the new Shanghai Village complex, which is scheduled for late 2015 and will be the second group in China.
