RTA Group DMC Spain has been one of the leading DMC’s in Spain since 1988. Offices in Costa del Sol , Valencia, Madrid , Ibiza and Barcelona .A Dmc that services large corporate events/incentives and Conventions all around Spain . We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team (based in Barcelona ).

Position specific responsibilities:
Organize and participate in sales missions /sales calls (mainly in Germany,Switzerland,Austria, and Benelux)

To develop new business opportunities with multinational clients, convincing them to organize their Events in Spain

Attend tradeshow (domestic and international) and networking functions
Interact with potential clients and maintain relationships with current clients
Respond and follow up on inquiries, online and/or by phone
Develop, update and maintain a client database
Develop collateral materials with the marketing department
Follow through on charters/events from start to finish, attend/supervise events
Create weekly and monthly sales activity reports
Create annual sales budget and goals with general manager/director of sales

Desired background:
3-5 years in corporate travel / MICE industry
Experience in local DMC,HOTEL or Incentive Company desired
Must be detail oriented and a self-starter
Excellent communication skills  with excellent written and spoken english
Proficient in MS Office

Salary is commensurate with experience level. Factors to be considered: your demonstrated hard and soft skills, level of education, history in the industry, and relevant work experience.

Profile:

University education.

Knowledge of Destination Spain as an incoming destination for events/corporate meetings.

Written and spoken German is an advantage.
